Even though I believe we have agency, I have long observed that almost everyone, in their own way, tries to change their life for the better. And if someone can't, the explanation is fate. The mind needs an explanation, any explanation will do, as that explanation is better than the lack of an answer, and the uncertainty of the future.
Great thoughts and experiences. I'm going to share with my kids, associates, customers and students.
