Your blog has been an inspiration to me for so long. I believe you have always at least implicitly understood the informational costs of synchronization and maintenance. Being a father of two girls definitely is an advantage isn't it?

Every person my age and older got a shit lesson on services and consultants as we grew up through the ranks. Most of us got a terribly sour taste in our mouths and we shudder whenever someone says "We should hire a consultant!"

But, now, that age feels long-past and the industries are getting decimated. Good. I'm all for it. More agents (that we can control) and less billable time into the gutter.
